I'm syncing between Strava and my Garmin Edge 1030. It screws up Climb Pro with ridiculous "maroon" sections of the climb that show wildly varying elevation changes, like a sawtooth profile. I got round it by deleting the 820 from Garmin Connect and re-pairing the unit and then syncing which picked up the ride to work but the Strava sync took several hours to happen but all is good now. The cycle computer that I use is a Garmin Edge 1000 - when I finish a ride it automatically uploads the ride to the Garmin app that then sends it to Strava - not sure how long it takes but it is always on my PC by the time I get the bike hung on a hook in the garage!
