Jul 20, 2019 · I have been watching many 1025R videos from Tractor Time With Tim and I have seen many videos that he seems to use more than (8) 70lbs weights for ballast. See attached pictures of spec of load and tires, and excel ballast calculation. Good morning. I’m looking at purchasing a tooth bar and maybe a heavy hitch with some weights for my 1025R. Do you guys know if heavy hitch gives a better discount then you get for the tractor time with Tim code entered. Does he offer a veteran or law enforcement discount? Thanks in advance!

There isn’t much I’d change on it. Adjustable arms on 3 point hitch is nice, but I don’t have those. They make it much easier hooking up attachments. 4x4 is handy when using a loader on a light tractor. If the load is heavy and your rear attachment is light, then you are going to tear the ground up when your rear tires don’t have any bite.
